Sometimes when a painting doesn’t work out, there is still a part of it that I like. It occurred to me one day that I could photograph the painting, crop out what I liked, and then work on it more in Photoshop (which is what I usually do with my photos). I tried it and found these two very different mediums play quite nicely together. In the case of “She” and “Coming Through” I also layered in one of my photographs.
